At A Journey 2 Heal, we provide an Anger Management service to help individuals address their anger issues. Our team of experienced and trained counselors are dedicated to helping clients identify their triggers for angry outbursts, and learn to effectively manage those feelings in a healthy way.

Anger Management Counseling

The first step in our Anger Management program is to begin by helping clients recognize the signs of their anger and understand how it affects them both emotionally and physically. This helps clients identify the triggers that lead them to become angry and make better decisions when they feel overwhelmed or frustrated. We also provide practical skills such as relaxation techniques and communication strategies so they can manage their emotions when situations become difficult or stressful.

Our team also uses evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which encourages positive thinking habits and problem-solving skills. We also offer guidance on how to develop healthier relationships in order to reduce stressors that may contribute to feeling angry or overwhelmed. Throughout the program we work with each client individually so that they can develop a personalized plan for managing their anger more effectively.
